| "Card not recognized"            | The card number doesn't match records | Retype the number; check for spaces.       |
| "Please try again later"         | Temporary service issue               | Wait 5 minutes and reload.                 |
| "Invalid CVV"                    | The 3-digit code was wrong            | Look at the back of the card and re-enter. |
| "Session expired"                | You were idle too long                | Start again from capitalone.com/activate.  |
| "Too many attempts"              | You tried too many times              | Wait 15 minutes before retrying.           |
