Registering takes about 5 minutes and only needs your card and personal details.

Steps

  1. Visit capitalone.com and click Set Up Online Access.
  2. Enter your last name and Social Security Number.
  3. Enter your date of birth.
  4. Enter your card number to link the account.
  5. Create a unique username.
  6. Create a strong password (at least 8 characters, mixing letters and numbers).
  7. Choose your security questions and answers.
  8. Enter your email address and mobile number.
  9. Review your details and submit.
  10. Verify your email or phone using the code sent to you.
Once verified, you can sign in to manage your card online or in the mobile app.

  • Turn on two-factor authentication for stronger protection.
  • Save your username somewhere secure in case you forget it.
